What You’ll Do
This Associate Java Developer will join a cloud deployment team working on modern Java services and deployment pipelines. You will contribute to design, development, testing, and deployment of cloud-native applications and support the team in delivering quality production releases.
- Work on Java-based services and microservices for cloud deployment
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations
- Assist with cloud deployments and CI/CD pipeline tasks
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects across development, staging, and production
- Write unit and integration tests and help maintain automated test suites
- Document work and share knowledge with peers and mentors
What We’re Looking For
We welcome early-career candidates and associates who are ready to grow into production software roles. Candidates with relevant coursework, internships, bootcamp projects, or hands-on personal projects will be considered.
- Familiarity with Java and object oriented programming fundamentals
- Understanding of REST APIs and service oriented design
- Interest or some exposure to cloud platforms and cloud deployment concepts
- Experience working with source control and team collaboration tools
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Desire to learn modern deployment practices and CI/CD workflows
Nice to Have
- Exposure to microservices or full stack development
- Any experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience or coursework in DevOps practices, containers, or automation
- Background in Python or data toolchains for hybrid engineering roles
Compensation & Employment Type
- Base salary: $82,000 - $136,000 per year
- Employment type: Full time
- Location: Dowtown Carrier Annex, CA (onsite or hybrid as required by the client)
