What You’ll Do
The Associate Hospital Sales Representative will support territory sales and account growth for a confidential client in the medical device/infusion therapy space. This is an entry-level, field-based role with a structured training program and a clear promotion path to a field Sales Representative role (typical promotion window: 12–18 months, based on performance and business need).
- Build and maintain professional relationships with hospital clinicians, supply chain contacts, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and qualify opportunities in CRM to meet territory sales quotas for infusion therapy, devices, oncology, specialty products, and services.
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to clinical and procurement audiences.
- Position the confidential client’s products competitively by understanding clinical advantages and market alternatives.
- Support account communications related to pricing, contracts, allocations, and backorders.
- Collaborate with sales teams and managers to align territory activities with regional goals.
- Travel as needed to support implementations, go-lives, education, and on-site customer activities (role typically requires significant travel).
- Participate in team meetings, special projects, and regular coaching/training sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Must meet any credentialing requirements for customer locations, including COVID-19 vaccination where required by customer credentialing policies.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet the employer’s Authorized Driver Policy (for driving on company business).
Knowledge & Skills
- Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident presentation and demonstration skills for clinical audiences.
- Strong organization and time-management skills; able to multitask effectively.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Clinical curiosity — ability to learn clinical guidelines and apply product knowledge to clinical decision-making.
Work Environment & Travel
- This is a field-based role; work will be performed from a home office and on-site at customer locations.
- Role typically requires travel (often more than 50%) and occasional travel outside the assigned territory.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods depending on customer needs.
Compensation (Estimated)
- Estimated base: $66,311 per year (source estimate). Actual compensation, benefits, and bonus/commission structure will be shared by the confidential client during the hiring process.
- This role includes structured training and a promotion pathway to a field-based Sales Representative role.
