The Associate Hospital Sales Representative is an entry-level, field-based role responsible for building relationships with healthcare stakeholders to drive sales of Confidential Client products across multiple territories. The position offers comprehensive training and hands-on experience, focusing on clinical product knowledge, sales strategy, and customer engagement, with opportunities for promotion to a field Sales Representative role within 12-18 months.

What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and key decision-makers to create future business opportunities for the Confidential Client.
- Manage a CRM pipeline and work to meet territory sales quotas for infusion therapy, devices, oncology, specialty products, and services.
- Present product information and clinical value to hospital clinicians, demonstrating familiarity with relevant guidelines (FDA, CDC, SHEA, INS, ONS, ASHP).
- Conduct product demonstrations and customer meetings; act as a consultative clinical resource for clinical and supply-chain contacts.
- Monitor territory contracts, distribution models, pumps, solutions and position Confidential Client offerings against competitors.
- Support field sales with customer communications about backorders, allocations, pricing and contracts.
- Participate in team/regional calls, special projects, and travel monthly outside the assigned territory to support implementations, go-lives, education and assessments.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- Position requires compliance with credentialing requirements (including COVID-19 vaccination where required by customer sites) to perform essential functions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Authorized Driver Policy requirements.
Skills & Tools
- Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and strong presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Comfortable learning clinical details of medical devices and translating clinical value to healthcare professionals.
Work Environment & Travel
- Field-based role with the ability to work from a home office and frequently on-site at customer locations.
- Typically requires travel more than 50% of the time and monthly travel outside the assigned territory.
- May involve extended periods of standing, walking, and on-site support during implementations or trainings.
- Successful candidates may be considered for promotion to a field-based Sales Representative within 12–18 months; relocation for promotions may be required.
Compensation (Estimated)
- Estimated annual compensation: $52,746 per year (estimated).
- This is an entry-level role with comprehensive training and a clear development path into field sales.
