What You’ll Do

As an Associate Finance Specialist supporting Finance Transformation projects, you will work on client engagements that modernize finance operations, improve reporting and decision-making, and increase operational efficiency. Typical responsibilities include:

• Support finance transformation initiatives across industries (healthcare, financial services, public sector, retail, manufacturing, etc.)
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting tasks
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Help document and redesign finance processes to increase automation and efficiency
• Collaborate with consultants, technology specialists, and client finance teams on project deliverables
• Use data and emerging technologies (automation, AI-enabled tools) to support recommendations and reporting
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and status updates; prepare materials and findings
• Learn through mentorship, certifications, coaching, and hands-on project experience

Required technical and professional expertise

• Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, budgeting and forecasting
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and apply a structured analytical approach to problem solving
• Exposure to finance, business analysis, process improvement, data analysis, or transformation initiatives (coursework, internships, projects)
• Awareness of how technology, automation, and AI can improve financial and business outcomes
• Interest in consulting, finance transformation, enterprise technologies, and continuous learning
• Strong communication, collaboration, and professional initiative

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Hands‑on exposure to financial systems, reporting tools, business intelligence platforms, or enterprise applications
• Familiarity with data analysis or reporting tools (Excel, SQL, BI tools) or process improvement methodologies
• Prior internship or project experience in finance, accounting, analytics, or transformation initiatives
• Demonstrated curiosity about emerging technologies and a desire to grow into consulting roles
