Role Summary

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Associate Engineer to support system development, integration, testing, and validation work on embedded platforms. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who have a background in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering and practical exposure to embedded software and communication protocols.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
• 0–1 years of experience (entry-level candidates welcome)
• Note: No sponsorship is available. ITAR compliance verification may be required.

Required Skills

• Understanding of system-level engineering concepts
• Programming experience in C, C++, or Python
• Basic familiarity with embedded systems and hardware–software integration
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and TCP/IP
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities

• Support system development, integration, testing, and validation activities
• Develop, debug, and troubleshoot software and system-level issues on embedded platforms
• Work with communication protocols and assist with hardware–software integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams during product development

Compensation & Location

• Location: Loves Park, IL (local candidates preferred)
• Estimated pay (from source): $80,728 per year — listed as an estimate
