What You’ll Do

As an Associate Embedded Software Engineer in the Pathways rotational program you will join the confidential client Mission Systems team in Baltimore, MD. In this entry-level role you will learn on the job across rotations and contribute to embedded software development that supports mission-critical systems.

• Participate in the Pathways rotational program to gain experience across engineering teams
• Develop, test, and debug embedded software for real-time systems
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and test engineers to integrate software into products
• Create and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and verification artifacts
• Follow secure development practices and support activities that require adjudicated security clearances
• Learn and apply software engineering fundamentals, SDLC best practices, and team processes

Key Qualifications

Basic qualifications — candidate must meet ALL of the following:

• Be completing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Major in (or have majored in) Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related STEM field
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
• Be able to obtain access to a Special Access Program within a reasonable period as determined by the client
• A final DoD Secret Clearance is required to start

Preferred qualifications:

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
• Current/active DoD Secret clearance (preferred but not required)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $72,700 to $109,100 per year (range provided by the confidential client)
• Depending on role, may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and other incentive plans

• Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates
