Role summary

Confidential Client is hiring an Associate Director of Business Development to support Regional Sales Directors in generating leads, developing prospects, and helping close new business across multiple verticals. This is a full-time, sales-focused role based in San Antonio, TX with telecommute flexibility. Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000 base + commission. This is an entry-level sales support position with strong growth potential toward a Regional Sales Director role.


What You’ll Do

  • Support Regional Sales Directors and Sales RVP with lead generation and prospect development
  • Execute a strategic prospecting plan across verticals and lines of service
  • Tailor outreach to multiple buying influences and follow a consistent cadence
  • Use CRM to log activity, manage pipeline, and document milestones and insights
  • Research target accounts to understand business needs, current services, and pain points
  • Collaborate with operations and cross-sector leaders to create vertical growth approaches
  • Assist with complex proposals, bids, and contract support as needed
  • Help coordinate initial meetings and transitions from prospect to account team
  • Stay engaged through the sales cycle to improve close potential and support handoffs

  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Comfortable shifting priorities; strong time management and multi-tasking ability
  • Resourceful, proactive, and eager to learn continuously
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient with CRM tools and online research platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business-related experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Dedication to a proven sales process and a desire to win

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000 base per year + commission (pay structure includes base salary + incentive pay)

Paid and unpaid time off eligibility is subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
