Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Associate, Direct Marketing to support mass fundraising campaigns across offline and online channels. This hybrid, full-time position is based in New York, NY (Midtown Manhattan) and provides hands-on experience in direct mail, telemarketing, DRTV, email, paid search, display, and social fundraising. This role reports to the Senior Director, Direct Marketing and is a strong fit for early-career professionals who want to grow in nonprofit fundraising and marketing.
What You’ll Do
You will support campaign execution, reporting, vendor coordination, and basic financial controls across direct marketing channels. Key responsibilities include:
- Attend weekly campaign review meetings and monitor program performance
- Provide creative input for campaign materials and review donor-facing content for accuracy and brand compliance
- Pull database reports, prepare contact files for telemarketing, and perform basic quantitative analysis
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to gather copy and creative assets
- Track campaign schedules in SharePoint and maintain shared visibility of activity
- Ensure expense alignment with budgets, produce cost estimates, and process invoices
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, note-taking, and filing archived campaigns

Qualifications

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience or familiarity with SharePoint, database reporting tools, or similar systems is a plus
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Compensation & Location
- Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually
- Employment type: Full-time, hybrid (in-office at least two days/week) — office located in Midtown Manhattan (New York, NY)

Notes & Expectations
- This is an entry-level position designed to provide progressive responsibility: administrative support → supporting campaigns (3 months) → leading campaigns with supervision (6 months) → independently managing campaigns within 12 months.
