What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking entry-level Associate Digital Engineers to join a Pathways/early-career program in Baltimore, MD. In this role you will learn and contribute to digital engineering tasks that support mission-critical systems, including model-based systems engineering, systems integration activities, and engineering toolchain usage.

Typical responsibilities:

• Support digital engineering workflows across system development lifecycles
• Use model-based tools and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
• Assist with systems integration, verification planning, and documentation
• Participate in technical reviews and contribute findings to engineering teams
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and follow security/clearance protocols

What We’re Looking For

This position is designed for recent graduates or candidates completing a Bachelor’s degree who want hands-on experience in digital engineering. Ideal candidates are curious, collaborative, and eager to learn in a security-cleared environment.

• Collaboration across software, hardware, and systems teams
• Clear written and verbal communication

Minimum Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the following:

• Be completing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Major in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related STEM field
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Be able to obtain a Special Access Program clearance within a reasonable period, as required
• A Final DoD clearance is required to start

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
• Demonstrated coursework or projects in systems engineering, embedded systems, or model-based tools
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

Salary (for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree): $80,100 - $102,000 per year.

Additional notes:

• Role may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, or discretionary bonuses depending on assignment.

• Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

Location, Clearance & Travel

• Primary location: Baltimore, MD.
• Clearance: Final DoD clearance required to start; candidate must be eligible for U.S. Government security clearances (U.S. citizenship required).
• Travel: Up to approximately 10% travel may be required.
