Role Overview
This entry‑level Associate, Digital Activation will support the execution of digital campaigns across direct and programmatic channels for a confidential client. The role focuses on ensuring correct activation of the Digital Activation Process, pacing, campaign performance and accurate programmatic billing and reconciliation. Ideal candidates are collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn digital media tools and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation of the Digital Planning & Activation Process across programmatic buying.
- Monitor campaign pacing and performance; flag issues and work with internal teams to resolve.
- Support direct and programmatic campaign trafficking and tag verification.
- Manage programmatic billing and reconciliation activities.
- Work with Strategy and Account teams to understand campaign goals and communicate results and insights.
- Attend internal training (digital media fundamentals, analytics, visualization, presentation skills) and external publisher meetings.
- Learn and use media platforms and tools as required.
Qualifications
- Interest in advertising, marketing or media; entry-level role.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred—Marketing, Communications or related field is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and basic comfort with numerical concepts.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to interact professionally with teammates and vendors.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to learn media tools and software quickly.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with programmatic buying concepts and ad tech terminology.
- Experience with media planning or campaign reporting tools.
- Basic understanding of direct vs programmatic channels, pixels/tags, and pacing metrics.
Location & Compensation
- Location: Schiller Park, IL (on-site or hybrid as defined by the client).
- Estimated compensation (from source listing): $93,627 per year — candidates should confirm pay and benefits during the interview process.
