Role summary
This Associate Data Analyst role supports survey-based market research and analytics for a confidential client in the business consulting and market research industry. You will clean and structure primary research data, run statistical analyses, produce client-ready cross-tabulations, and ensure data quality across projects. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Denver, CO.
What You’ll Do
- Clean, validate and structure complex survey datasets (SPSS or alternate platforms)
- Execute statistical analyses and interpret results using SPSS, R, Excel, or assigned tools
- Produce client-friendly cross-tabulations and deliverables using WinCross, JMP and internal survey platforms
- Perform quality assurance on in-progress surveys and final datasets
- Maintain and improve databases, data systems and processing workflows
- Develop process improvements and document standard operating procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- BS or MS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a data analyst / data processor (survey or market research experience strongly preferred)
- Proficiency with statistical packages for large datasets (SPSS required; experience with R, WinCross, JMP, Excel)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate substantial information accurately
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
- Customer-focused mindset and willingness to work occasional off-hours to meet client needs
- Working knowledge of survey logic; ability and interest to learn Python, JavaScript or XML is a plus
Nice-to-Have
- Previous market research or agency experience
- Familiarity with in-house survey platforms or AI-assisted data tools
- Experience building automated data pipelines or dashboards
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary: $72,000–$90,000 per year (range provided by the confidential client)

Location & Work Model
This position is fully onsite at the confidential client’s Denver office (LoDo / Union Station). The client is not considering remote, hybrid, or out-of-area candidates for this role.
Interview Process
- 1st Round: 30–45 minute interview with Recruiter
- 2nd Round: 60-minute interview with Hiring Manager
- 3rd Round: ~2 hours onsite with the Hiring Team
