What You’ll Do
As an Associate Data Analyst with Confidential Client you will support data modernization efforts and help build reliable, well-structured datasets used across the organization. Typical responsibilities include:
- Complete assigned analytical tasks and deliver accurate, actionable insights within established timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Sales, Product, Claims) to clarify business questions and data needs.
- Write and review SQL; contribute to dbt tasks including model updates, tests, and documentation.
- Support regulatory data calls and statistical reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc).
- Perform exploratory analysis to surface patterns and support data-driven decisions.
- Document data definitions, pipelines, and analytical findings to promote reproducibility and clarity.
- Build reports and dashboards using Python and BI tools (experience with Hex or similar is a plus).
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and SQL (coursework, internships, or hands-on practice).
- Exposure to dbt, Databricks, Python, or BI/visualization tools is highly desirable.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a passion for working with data.

Compensation & Location
- Base salary range: $70,000 — $85,000 (full-time). Final pay depends on skills, experience, and location.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- To ensure a successful onboarding experience, all new hires must work onsite at a Confidential Client office during their first week. Candidates should apply only if they can meet this requirement.
