Position overview

Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is seeking an Associate Creative Technologist to join an early-career consult program focused on building interactive, prototype-driven experiences that communicate technical value. This is an onsite position in The Colony, TX (5 days/week).


What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for a hands-on technologist who blends creativity, prototyping, and applied experimentation to build customer-facing demos and scalable experience assets.

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive prototypes, demonstrations, and experiential assets that showcase technology capabilities and business value.
  • Translate creative concepts and design solutions into functional digital experiences using web technologies, immersive platforms, and emerging tools.
  • Collaborate with experience designers, content creators, marketers, developers, and subject matter experts to deliver engaging end-to-end customer experiences.
  • Build rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts that can be reused across events, campaigns, customer engagements, and digital platforms.
  • Evaluate and apply emerging technologies, including AI-enabled creative tools and new interaction models, to enhance storytelling and engagement.
  • Implement integrations using APIs and structured data to create richer interactive experiences.
  • Assess feasibility, performance, accessibility, and implementation effort when developing solutions.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and refine prototypes using feedback and user insights to improve usability and reliability.
  • Document technical approaches, reusable components, and implementation guidelines for reuse and scaling.
  • Support customer-facing experiences such as executive briefings, events, showcases, and demonstrations with production-ready digital solutions.
  • Present demos and clearly communicate technical concepts and customer value to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Who You Are

You’re an early-career creative technologist with a growth mindset and a strong interest in applied, customer-facing innovation. You enjoy turning design concepts into working experiences and collaborating across disciplines.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product, Design, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline — or equivalent practical experience.
  • Entry-level experience building prototypes, demonstrations, or interactive digital experiences.
  • Foundational knowledge of AI tools and modern development frameworks.
  • Ability to translate design concepts into functional technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with prototyping tools, low-code platforms, or creative-technology toolchains.
  • Understanding of interaction design, usability, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly through demos and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AR/VR, WebGL, game engines, immersive technologies, or AI-enabled experiences.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing events, showcases, or executive briefings.
  • Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards.
  • Experience in enterprise technology, consulting, innovation, or agency environments.
  • Passion for emerging technologies and innovative customer experiences.

Location & Work Authorization

  • Work location: The Colony, TX — onsite 5 days per week.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction now and in the future. Confidential Client will not sponsor employment visas for this role.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $77,000 per year (full-time). This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus (subject to plan terms).
