What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst to support space programs based in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role you will work with program teams to set up and maintain cost and schedule control systems, run analyses, and produce reports that keep contracts on track.
- Sets up and maintains cost control systems and validated cost/schedule baselines
- Monitor and control costs and schedules against contract requirements and government guidelines
- Prepare budgets, schedules and funding profiles for contract work
- Perform variance and trend analyses; prepare routine reports for program and technical teams
- Conduct schedule risk assessments and recommend mitigation actions
- Incorporate contractual changes into control systems and update baselines as needed
- Process subcontractor invoices (PLSC2 system) and support earned value contracts (EVM reporting)
- Coordinate with finance, program management, and subcontractors to ensure funding availability and accurate expenditure tracking
What We’re Looking For (Basic Qualifications)
A candidate must meet ALL of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Economics, or similar
- 0–2 years of related experience (entry-level)
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (clearance required for some roles)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
- Experience with SAP and Cobra (earned value tool)
- Familiarity with earned value management (EVM) concepts and schedule risk tools
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work collaboratively across technical and financial teams
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $57,300 to $85,900 per year (range provided by our client)
- Additional possible compensation depending on role: overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, annual bonus programs, and for senior roles, potential long-term incentives
- Benefits may include health insurance, life/disability coverage, retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (benefits vary by position and location)
Location, Travel & Clearance
- Work location: Colorado Springs, CO
- Travel: approximately 10% (as noted by the client)
- Many roles will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a government security clearance; this is a prerequisite for clearance-eligible positions
