What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for an entry-level Associate Package Specialist to support packaged application implementations in a Client Innovation Center environment. This is a hands-on, learning-focused consulting role where you’ll work in structured teams alongside experienced practitioners to deliver client solutions.

• Support packaged application implementations across phases: requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support
• Assist with application configuration, data migration activities, integrations, and environment setup
• Participate in testing, validation, and defect resolution activities
• Support production environments by helping analyze issues and assisting resolution efforts
• Collaborate with functional and technical team members to integrate packaged solutions into client business processes
• Build consulting and technical expertise through structured training, mentorship, and on-the-job delivery experience

Required qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to approach tasks with structured, logical thinking
• Quick learner with demonstrated ability to pick up new systems, tools, and concepts
• Comfortable working onsite in a collaborative, team-based consulting environment
• Exposure to enterprise or packaged applications through coursework, academic projects, internships, or work experience
• Familiarity with basic concepts such as business process flows, system configuration vs. customization, and testing/validation
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (hosting applications, environment setup, integrations) on at least one platform (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, Google Cloud) from coursework, labs, or projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• Experience on system implementations or configuration projects
• Exposure to packaged applications (ERP, HCM, CRM, or similar)
• Familiarity with data migration concepts and integration workflows
• Experience with Agile or other structured delivery methodologies
• Exposure to databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MongoDB)
• Experience with analytics or data tools (Tableau, SAS, Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
• Familiarity with web development concepts, RESTful APIs, or application frameworks (Spring Boot, .NET Core, Flask/Django, Node.js)
• Awareness of generative AI concepts and responsible use (coursework, projects, or self-study)

Compensation (as listed)

• Estimated annual compensation: $63,407 per year (estimated value provided in source posting)

Work Location & Onsite Expectations

• This role is based in a Client Innovation Center and requires regular onsite presence at the assigned delivery center for hands-on collaboration and mentorship.
• Travel may be required up to ~60% (project dependent), typically returning home on weekends.
