What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Associate Commercial Sourcing Advisor (intern → full-time conversion) to support regional supply chain and sourcing activities. This is an entry-level role suited to candidates who want a hands-on start in strategic sourcing, contract administration, and supplier relationship management.

  • Support development and execution of sourcing and contracting strategies for goods and services.
  • Lead bid package activities from RFP preparation through purchase order execution, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and Supply Chain requirements.
  • Participate in vendor pre-bid meetings and site walks; manage commercial scopes, assumptions, and clarifications.
  • Prepare and negotiate service and supply contract terms and maintain related rate sheets.
  • Run benchmarking and root-cause analysis; analyze cost drivers (total cost of ownership / should-cost modeling) and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Advise stakeholders on contract compliance and commercial risk mitigation; liaise with legal and business owners on master agreements and amendments.
  • Track supplier performance and KPIs, facilitate issue resolution, and support supplier qualification.
  • Identify and drive value-creation projects (cost savings, cost avoidance, revenue enhancement) while ensuring business continuity.
  • Use Supply Chain tools, templates, and systems to support continuous improvement and alignment across teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Entry-level experience or internship exposure in supply chain, strategic sourcing, commercial advisory, contract administration/development, or contract management.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with commercial / financial data.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support stakeholder-focused sourcing activities.

Preferred / Valuable Skills

  • Experience or familiarity with SAP, Ariba, Tableau, Microsoft 365, or TRACK.
  • Basic negotiation exposure or coursework in contract terms.
  • Internship or co-op experience that included sourcing, procurement, or supplier management work.
  • Familiarity with KPI tracking and supplier performance metrics.

  • Procurement / sourcing templates and TRACK (or equivalent systems)

Compensation, Location & Schedule

  • Location: Denver, CO (role will be listed for Denver per posting)
  • Employment type: Full-time (with internship-to-full-time conversion and contractor/internship hiring pathways considered)
  • Pay range (posted): $61,200 - $91,600 per year
