What You’ll Do
You will support the Energy Compliance Services (ECS) practice by preparing, documenting, and reviewing technical aspects of renewable-fuel and energy compliance projects under supervision. Typical responsibilities include:
- Support senior engineers on site inspections at client facilities
- Prepare mass and energy balance calculations for renewable fuel projects
- Draft engineering review reports and regulatory documentation
- Review process flow diagrams and process descriptions
- Contribute to multiple client projects and support project delivery on schedule
- Communicate technical information clearly with internal teams and clients
Required Qualifications
To be considered, candidates must meet these minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an EAC/ABET-accredited university
- Grade point average (GPA) of 3.3 or higher
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Able to learn quickly and adapt in a fluid working environment
Preferred Qualifications
The following are preferred and will strengthen your application:
- Internship or entry-level work experience in chemical engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) status or progress toward a PE license
- Willingness to take and pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam within one year if not already completed
- Experience performing mass and energy balance calculations
- Experience interpreting and preparing block flow diagrams (BFDs), process flow diagrams (PFDs), and process descriptions
- Membership or participation in professional organizations (e.g., AIChE, SWE, SHPE, SASE, NSBE)
Work Type, Travel & Compensation

- Travel: Up to 10% annually
- Annual base pay reference for Denver area: $80,000 (exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location)
