About the role
Confidential Client is hiring an Associate Business Transformation Consultant (Data Services) anticipated to start in 2027. This entry-level consulting role sits at the intersection of technology, people, and process — helping clients adopt data-driven practices, modernize analytics pipelines, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
What You’ll Do
As an Associate Business Transformation Consultant you will:
- Analyze datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights that improve marketing, operations, and business outcomes.
- Build clear, user-focused visualizations, dashboards, and reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Clean, validate, and preprocess data to ensure high quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to capture requirements, map current and future processes, and define use cases and solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations that demonstrate the value of data-driven decision-making.
- Advocate for business process transformation by identifying automation and optimization opportunities and applying Agile and project management practices.
- Learn continuously through structured training, certifications, and mentoring offered by the client.
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong analytical reasoning and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex information simply.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical approaches.
- Experience or coursework related to ETL/ELT projects, data warehouse design, or analytics pipelines.
- Familiarity with SQL and Python.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% based on project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Math, MIS, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Airflow, data modeling, and CI/CD basics.
- Data engineering skills: pipeline design, infrastructure, deployment, and scalability.
- Familiarity with vector databases and deployment workflows.
- GenAI literacy — prompt engineering, RAG, fine‑tuning, and evaluation of generative models.
- Preferred certifications: SnowPro Core, Databricks Associate, Google Associate Cloud Engineer / Data Engineer coursework.
- Practical project experience or capstone projects in data engineering or analytics.
