What You’ll Do
- Assist in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and functional requirements for Salesforce solutions alongside senior business analysts and technical teams.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, discovery sessions, and process-mapping discussions to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Support Salesforce configuration tasks including objects, fields, page layouts, reports, dashboards, workflows, and Flow.
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, QA engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders across the software development lifecycle.
- Assist with functional and user acceptance testing, defect tracking, release validation, and deployment support.
- Develop and maintain business requirements, process documentation, training materials, user guides, and release notes.
- Help investigate system issues, answer functional questions, and document enhancement requests from end users.
- Support backlog management, requirements traceability, and prioritization of Salesforce enhancements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of business analysis, systems analysis, or related experience (including internships, academic projects, or coursework).
- Familiarity with business analysis concepts such as requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, process mapping, and functional documentation.
- Exposure to Salesforce or other CRM platforms is preferred but not required.
- Interest in Salesforce configuration (Flow, reports, dashboards), data management, APIs, and integrations.
- Basic understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to relational databases, SQL, APIs, testing, or systems integration concepts.
- Salesforce Trailhead experience or certifications (Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, etc.).
- Experience producing process flows, user stories, functional documentation, reports, dashboards, or test scenarios via coursework, internships, or projects.
- Interest in federal technology consulting or supporting government clients.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $78,000–$100,000 per year, plus annual performance-based bonuses.

Work Location & Schedule
- Hybrid — in-person two days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) at the client’s Dulles Town Center, VA office. Candidates must be able to commute to the office as required.
Additional Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Equivalent education, training, or experience will be considered.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; the confidential client will not sponsor work authorization for this role.
