What You’ll Do

This rotational Pathways opportunity is designed to develop early-career finance and business management professionals. You will rotate through up to three Business Management functions to build broad experience across program financials and contract support.

Typical rotation opportunities include:

  • Program Control Analyst (PCA)
  • Contracts Analyst
  • Pricing Analyst
  • Rates Analyst
  • Budget Analyst
  • Financial Planning Analyst
  • Accounting Analyst
  • Scheduling Analyst
  • Controller support / Analyst roles

Day-to-day work may include analyzing program cost and schedule performance, supporting pricing and contracting activities, preparing budget and financial reports, maintaining cost and schedule data, and coordinating with program teams to support decision making. You will work with senior Business Management staff and cross-functional partners to learn processes, tools, and compliance expectations that support mission delivery.


Who We’re Looking For

This role has two levels in the Pathways structure:

Associate Business Management Analyst (Entry / Bachelor level)

  • Candidates completing or who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or a closely related field such as Legal Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Risk Management, or Supply Chain.

Business Management Analyst (Master’s level)

  • Candidates completing or who have completed a Master’s degree in the fields above.

Common requirements for both:

  • U.S. citizenship is required and candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance; the ability to obtain Special Access Program access within a reasonable time is also required.
  • Interest in rotational development across business management functions and working on mission-focused IT/defense programs.

Preferred

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
  • Prior internships or relevant business experience
  • Existing active U.S. government security clearance (beneficial but not required)

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of accounting, budgeting, or financial analysis concepts
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and business software; willingness to learn internal systems
  • Good written and verbal communication; ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a team and adapt to fast-paced, mission-focused environments

Compensation & Start Dates

Salary ranges for this opportunity are provided below. Actual offers will depend on role level, experience, education, and market conditions.

  • Associate Business Management Analyst: $60,200 to $90,200 per year
  • Business Management Analyst: $72,400 to $108,600 per year

Target start dates: January 2027 or July 2027.

Note: The ranges above represent guidelines. Depending on the specific rotation and responsibilities, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differentials, discretionary bonuses, and other benefits. Benefits may include health insurance, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid holidays, and paid time off.


Location

This role is based in Linthicum Heights, MD. Candidates must meet U.S. citizenship and clearance eligibility requirements.
