What You’ll Do
This entry-level Audit Associate role at a Confidential Client provides hands-on exposure to public accounting audit work and a strong foundation toward CPA eligibility. You will join audit teams to perform audit procedures, collaborate with client staff, and support preparation of audit deliverables under the supervision of partners and managers.
- Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts (cash, accounts payable, fixed assets, etc.).
- Reconcile account differences and analyze client financial data.
- Help draft management letter comments and parts of the audit report.
- Participate in client meetings alongside partners and managers.
- Learn technical accounting and professional skills through coaching and on-the-job experience.

Minimum Qualifications
These are the baseline requirements for consideration.
- Bachelor’s degree required for associate-level roles.
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0.
- Minimum grade of C or higher in job-relevant coursework and in intermediate accounting.
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. state by the role start date.
- Solid technical accounting knowledge.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Reliable transportation to the assigned office and availability to attend off-site meetings and events in person.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internships or practical exposure to audit work in a public accounting firm.
Compensation & Location
- Location: Salt Lake City, UT — on-site (must be able to travel to client sites as required).
- Estimated pay: $58,296 per year (estimated).
- Employment type: Full-time.
