What You’ll Do
Join the Confidential Client audit team in Fort Worth, TX as an Associate (Fall 2026 start). This entry-level, full-time audit role is designed for accounting graduates pursuing CPA eligibility. You’ll get hands-on exposure to client engagements, learn technical audit procedures, and work alongside experienced staff and managers.
- Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts (cash, accounts payable, fixed assets, etc.)
- Reconcile account differences and analyze financial data with client personnel
- Help draft management letter comments and portions of the audit report
- Participate in client meetings with partners and managers
- Support teams on multiple engagements while developing technical accounting skills
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting (150 credit hours must be completed prior to start date)
- Pursuing the education requirements to be licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state where the role is based
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state of employment
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required)
- Reliable transportation to the assigned office and ability to attend off-site meetings in person

- Prior internship experience at a public accounting firm performing audit work
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
