What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring entry-level Audit Associates who are pursuing CPA eligibility. You'll build technical audit skills by working on engagements across industries and collaborating with experienced staff and managers.
- Complete audit testing of financial statement accounts (cash, accounts payable, fixed assets, etc.)
- Reconcile account differences and analyze client financial data
- Help draft management letter comments and portions of the audit report
- Participate in client meetings alongside partners and managers
- Manage multiple engagement tasks while meeting deadlines

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required for Associate positions
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Minimum grade of C or higher in job-relevant coursework and in intermediate accounting
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. state by the role start date
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Reliable transportation to the assigned office and availability to attend off-site meetings/events in person
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship experience at a public accounting firm performing audit work
