What You’ll Do
As an Associate in Audit, you will work on engagements across a range of industries to build technical accounting and auditing skills while gaining client-facing experience.
- Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets
- Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
- Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report
- Participating in client meetings alongside partners and managers
- Learning from experienced staff and taking on increasing responsibility as your skills grow
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required for associate-level roles
- Minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0
- Minimum grade of C or higher in job-relevant coursework and in intermediate accounting
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. state by the role start date
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned office and ability to attend off-site meetings and events in person
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing audit work
