What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Audit Associate to join their Louisville, KY office for a full-time, CPA-track role. You will work on audit engagements across a variety of industries while receiving hands-on coaching from experienced staff and managers.
- Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts (cash, accounts payable, fixed assets, etc.)
- Reconcile account differences and analyze financial data with client personnel
- Help draft management letter comments and contribute to the audit report
- Participate in client meetings alongside partners and managers
- Support engagement documentation and maintain accurate workpapers
Who We’re Looking For
You’re a motivated accounting graduate or soon-to-be graduate ready to begin a public accounting audit career and pursue the CPA. You communicate well, manage time effectively, and thrive both on teams and working independently.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required for Associate level)
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0
- Minimum grade of C or higher in job-relevant coursework and intermediate accounting
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. state by the role start date
- Solid technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned office and to off-site meetings
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire (visa sponsorship not available for this role)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or work experience in a public accounting firm performing audit work
- Familiarity with audit software or accounting systems (preferred but not required)

- Employment type: Full Time
- Estimated base pay: $49,238 per year (estimated)
- Typical hours: full-time schedule with occasional busy-season overtime; flexibility varies by engagement
