What You’ll Do
This entry-level Audit Associate role provides hands-on experience across audit engagements while you progress toward CPA eligibility. You will:
- Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, and fixed assets
- Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
- Help draft management letter comments and audit reports
- Participate in client meetings alongside partners and managers
- Develop technical accounting skills and contribute to engagements across varied industries
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting
- Pursuing the education requirements to obtain CPA licensure in the state where the role is based (Colorado). Completion of 150 academic credit hours must be met prior to the start date
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in Colorado
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Reliable transportation for in-office and off-site client meetings
- Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internships at a public accounting firm performing audit work
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Benefits
Pursuant to Colorado law, the salary range for this Denver role is:
- $70,000 — $73,000 per year
Total compensation and benefits may include:

Salary offered will be based on experience, education, and skill set.
