What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Audit Associate for Fall 2026 in Colorado Springs. This full-time role is designed for accounting graduates working toward CPA licensure who want hands-on audit experience across a variety of industries.

• Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, and fixed assets
• Reconcile account differences and analyze client financial data
• Draft management letter comments and contribute to the audit report
• Participate in client meetings with partners and managers
• Communicate findings clearly and escalate issues when appropriate
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and client expectations

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• Pursuing the education requirements to be licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Colorado (must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state where the office is located)
• Completion of required academic credits (150 credit hours) must be met prior to the role start date
• Solid technical accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Reliable transportation for commuting and client visits
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this position

• Prior internship experience at a public accounting firm performing audit work
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on client teams
• Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Willingness to take initiative and accept increasing responsibility

Compensation & Location

• Location: Colorado Springs, CO (in-office / client site attendance required)
• Colorado salary range: $70,000 — $73,000 per year (salary will be based on experience, education, and skill set)
• Total compensation may include group health plan benefits, 401(k), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave
