What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Associate Application Developer (Salesforce) to join their delivery center in Baton Rouge, LA. This hands-on role focuses on learning and delivering Salesforce platform configuration, custom development, and integrations while supporting client engagements. You’ll work on real projects, receive mentorship, and have access to structured learning and certification opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Configure and administer the Salesforce platform (use of tools such as Force.com IDE and Data Loader).
- Write Apex code and create Visualforce pages and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to customize and extend Salesforce.
- Integrate Salesforce with enterprise applications and APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
- Perform routine maintenance, optimization, and monitoring to support platform performance and user adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in client-facing activities, following consulting best practices.
- Use version control (Git) and follow secure coding and deployment processes.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed or near completion in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of programming languages and core software engineering principles.
- Understanding of APIs, databases, cloud concepts, and application architectures.
- Exposure to web application development or enterprise platforms via coursework, projects, internships, or research.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Growth mindset, curiosity about enterprise technology (including AI, CRM, automation), and a desire to learn.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work without current or future visa sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications
- Exposure to Salesforce configuration or administration and CRM principles.
- Experience or coursework involving Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Knowledge of CRM integration approaches with enterprise applications.

Work arrangement & compensation
- Work arrangement: Hybrid — typically expected in-office ~4 days per week based on project needs in Baton Rouge, LA.
- Estimated compensation (as shown in the source listing): $114,155 per year. Actual pay will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
