What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an Associate Analyst – Financial Planning & Analysis to support divisional finance leaders and help deliver accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This is an entry-level / early-career role that will expose you to corporate FP&A processes, long-term modeling, and variance analysis used for strategic decision-making.
- Support the Managing Director and Director as a business partner across departments.
- Prepare routine reporting and ad-hoc financial analyses, ensuring accurate booking of financial data.
- Build and maintain models used for annual operating plans and long‑term forecasts.
- Produce variance analysis and clear explanations for divisional and senior leadership.
- Perform budget and forecast scenario analysis to inform decisions and external guidance.
- Support contract and purchasing negotiations with finance inputs.
- Track and report division headcount, productivity metrics, and cost/revenue initiatives.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to regional finance discussions and projects.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2–4 years of related finance or business administrative experience with a high school diploma, OR 0–2 years of related finance or business administrative experience with a bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required) and a working knowledge of accounting and financial statements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function.
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or related field).
- 2 years of FP&A or accounting experience, or 3 years customer experience/contact center experience.
- Experience with EPM/Planning tools and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and ability to use AI responsibly to support research and analysis while validating outputs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $53,960.00 to $70,334.00 (USD) per year.
- Compensation may vary based on experience, education, and skills. This position may also be eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive awards.
