Position overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Associate AI Solutions Specialist to support AI-enabled solutions, automations, and data-informed process improvements within engineering and operational teams. This is an entry-level, full-time role based in Kennett Square, PA. You will work under direct supervision to help design, test, deploy, document, and support practical AI tools that improve workflows, productivity, and consistency while meeting safety, security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll do
- Support requirements gathering, process mapping, prompt design, solution configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation for AI-enabled tools and automations.
- Assist with Power BI reporting and dashboard development to surface insights and measure solution impact.
- Help develop, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve AI agents (e.g., Copilot), workflow automations, and low-code solutions that reduce manual effort and improve outcomes.
- Work with business stakeholders, engineering teams, IT, cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance to produce secure, practical, maintainable solutions aligned with approved standards.
- Ensure solutions adhere to safety analyses, regulatory requirements, cybersecurity and data-governance standards, and responsible AI guidance.
- Participate in team activities including emergency response coverage or outage support as directed by management.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, OR
- Associate’s degree in a related field with 2 years of related experience, OR
- High school diploma/GED with 4 years of related experience
- Foundational understanding of AI concepts (generative AI, large language models, prompt design), automation fundamentals, data quality, and model limitations
- Ability to maintain required site access and pass medical/examinations as applicable
Preferred qualifications
- Coursework, internships, or projects with LLMs, Python, SQL, Microsoft Copilot/Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Claude, Power Platform, Power Automate, or similar tools
- Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, or related technical certifications
- Experience building Power BI dashboards and reports
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or process-improvement methodologies
- Experience documenting workflows, business requirements, test results, user guidance, and lessons learned
- Exposure to power generation, energy, utility, industrial, or other highly regulated environments
Compensation & benefits
- Expected salary range: $82,800 to $92,000 per year (varies by experience)
