Work Requirements & Location
Confidential Client requires that applicants are legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction now and in the future. Confidential Client will not sponsor employment visas for this role. This position is on-site at the Frisco, TX office and requires working at the Frisco office five days per week.
What You’ll Do
This entry-level Associate AI Engineer role supports the design, development, deployment, and optimization of AI, ML, analytics, and data-driven solutions. You will work alongside engineers, data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver production-ready components and learn modern engineering practices.
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver AI-enabled outcomes
- Contribute to design, development, testing, deployment, and support of AI and data solutions
- Participate in agile practices, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Document technical designs, data sources, workflows, assumptions, and runbooks
- Apply security, governance, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI principles to your work
- Build hands-on expertise in cloud, AI, and data technologies through project work and learning
AI Engineering Focus
- Support development of AI/ML and generative AI applications and intelligent agents
- Assist with APIs, integrations, automation, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions
- Help evaluate model performance, response quality, scalability, and user experience
- Participate in testing, monitoring, and optimization of models and services
Data Engineering & Analytics Focus
- Collect, cleanse, transform, validate, and prepare structured and unstructured data
- Use SQL, Python, and platform tools to query, manipulate, and analyze data
- Assist with exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and quality issues
- Support creation of ETL/ELT workflows, reusable scripts, and data pipelines
- Help prepare training datasets, features, and evaluation data for ML initiatives
Who You Are — Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience
- 0–3 years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, analytics, or related fields
- Working knowledge of Python or a similar programming language
- Basic understanding of software development principles and problem-solving techniques
- Familiarity with data structures, databases, APIs, cloud fundamentals, or modern development tools
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated curiosity and interest in emerging AI and data technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure (Azure AI Services/Azure OpenAI), AWS, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with generative AI, LLM fundamentals, retrieval systems, or intelligent automation
- Experience with SQL, data preparation, ETL/ELT, and data pipeline concepts
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker, DevOps, or MLOps practices
- Knowledge of visualization / BI tools and relevant certifications
- Understanding of responsible AI, data privacy, security, and governance

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $77,000 per year (full-time)
- Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus program based on performance
