Responsibilities & Essential Duties

  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) using Workiva or similar reporting platforms.
  • Participate in preparing quarterly earnings release materials, earnings call support documentation, and related analyses.
  • Gather, validate, and organize financial and non-financial information used in external reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain supporting schedules, analyses, and workpapers for SEC disclosures and management reporting.
  • Complete U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists and other compliance procedures.
  • Perform workpaper tie-outs to ensure accuracy and consistency across reporting documents.
  • Collaborate with internal partners (Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, Corporate Accounting) to obtain timely information.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests as needed.
  • Contribute to process-improvement initiatives to increase reporting efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
  • Support special projects, ad-hoc analyses, and government surveys as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
  • No prior professional accounting experience required; suitable for entry-level candidates.
  • Solid academic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Interest in financial reporting, SEC reporting, and public-company accounting.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, processes, and accounting concepts quickly.
  • Progress toward CPA certification or clear intent to pursue the CPA designation.

Nice-to-have (A plus, but not required)

  • Prior internship or co-op experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with SEC filings, Workiva, or other financial reporting software.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, Nitro PDF Pro, or similar document/document-management tools.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated salary (per source): $77,267 per year — estimated.
  • Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
