What You’ll Do

This entry-level Associate Accountant role supports day-to-day accounting functions across modules such as cost accounting, revenue/billing, project costing/inventory, intercompany accounting, accounts payable, government reporting, timekeeping/payroll, fixed assets, or tax accounting. Working with the accounting team, you will:

• Prepare and record financial transactions and supporting schedules.
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts using appropriate analytical techniques.
• Ensure financial records comply with internal policies, GAAP, corporate controls, and applicable federal contracting regulations.
• Support financial, tax, internal, and government reporting and audits.
• Interface with managers and personnel about transaction status and corrective actions.
• Apply technical accounting theory and practices to accurately record transactions.
• Participate in professional development and cross-functional learning.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent coursework).
• Ability to obtain/maintain required security clearance.
• Strong Excel skills and PC proficiency (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to analyze and interpret program financial data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; team-oriented.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and follow internal controls.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $77,000 - $77,000 per year (posted in compliance with local pay transparency law).
