What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Associate Account Manager — an entry-level, commissioned/contract sales role in the Global Sales Group (GSG). You will support account teams managing relationships with hyperscalers, cloud providers, OEMs, and enterprise storage customers. This role is ideal for candidates excited to develop commercial and technical skills in semiconductor and SSD/storage solutions.

  • Support Account Managers and Field Applications Engineers (FAEs) to understand customer needs and ensure timely follow-through on requests
  • Track account priorities and maintain accurate account documentation and opportunity trackers
  • Prepare and update customer-facing materials, meeting summaries, business reviews, and forecasts
  • Coordinate across Sales, Engineering, Strategic Planning, and Global Operations to support customer commitments
  • Contribute to pipeline development, revenue reporting, and design-win tracking

Operational Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update account plans, CRM records, and customer action logs
  • Maintain meeting notes, contact records, and sales activity in CRM systems
  • Support forecasting, pricing coordination, and revenue reporting with account leadership
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and coordinate deliveries

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
  • Strong interest in sales, customer engagement, semiconductor technology, cloud infrastructure, data centers, or enterprise storage solutions
  • Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and communicate product, supply, and business information clearly
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong follow-through and responsiveness
  • Foundational understanding of forecasting, pricing, contracts, and coordination processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Collaboration skills to work across functions and resolve customer issues
  • Analytical attention to detail and the ability to turn account inputs into actionable insights

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience: 0–2 years relevant experience in sales, account management, customer success, business operations, or technology-related roles (recent college graduates encouraged)
  • Preferred: Internship or early-career experience in sales, customer success, account coordination, business development, or semiconductor/technology markets; familiarity with CRM systems, sales reporting, or account planning

Compensation & Benefits

  • Employment type: Contract (commissioned sales role)
  • Compensation range: USD 120,500 - USD 192,800 per year (actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location)
  • Eligible to participate in restricted stock unit (RSU), restricted cash unit (RCU), and cash bonus programs where applicable
  • Benefits package may include medical, dental, vision, supplemental life and AD&D, short- and long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, and 401(k) match (benefits vary by client policy)
