Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Associate Account Manager to support their Surety / Insurance operations in Naperville, IL. This is a full‑time, hybrid role (in-office Monday–Wednesday; Thursday–Friday optional remote) focused on day‑to‑day account service and underwriting support for agents, principals, and underwriters.


What You’ll Do

You will provide high-quality customer service and administrative support across the account lifecycle to ensure accurate policy and bond processing and strong partner relationships.

  • Enter new and renewal business into proprietary rating systems
  • Prepare account service documents, client communications, and correspondence
  • Process renewals, endorsements, audits, non‑renewals, and cancellations; review for accuracy
  • Maintain bond/account files and ensure correspondence is actionable for client needs
  • Coordinate with underwriters and agents to resolve questions and requests
  • Respond to internal information requests and prepare monthly reports
  • Prepare, submit, and test IT programming requests related to account servicing
  • Assist in training colleagues and contribute to process improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic accounting experience
  • Familiarity with underwriting support processes, basic math, and problem‑solving techniques
  • Strong keyboarding and data‑entry skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication across internal and external audiences
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future need for visa sponsorship

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years underwriting support or insurance account experience
  • Familiarity with AS/400 and OnBase systems

Schedule & Location

  • Work model: Hybrid — required onsite Monday through Wednesday in Naperville, IL; Thursday and Friday optional remote.
  • Office location: Naperville, Illinois (local candidates or those willing to commute to the Naperville business site preferred).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly pay range: $14.95/hour — $32.54/hour (actual pay will depend on experience, qualifications, and location)
