What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring for an Associate Account Manager role based in Jacksonville, FL. This entry-level sales position is part of a structured Sales Development Journey designed to fast-track motivated, sales-driven candidates into Account Manager roles. You will learn on the job, work closely with senior sales mentors, and build business development and candidate-placement skills in an IT staffing and workforce solutions environment.
- Complete a structured sales training program and track progress via a program scorecard.
- Meet with clients and consultant candidates in person to assess needs.
- Shadow senior sales team members, participate in role-plays, and adopt proven sales strategies.
- Conduct networking and territory-based outreach, including cold calling and email outreach.
- Support Account Managers in expanding client relationships and qualifying candidates for job orders.
- Negotiate rates and employment terms with candidates and clients.
- Maintain ongoing communication with placed consultants and job seekers to grow your referral and industry network.
- Call professional references and convert relationships into client meetings.
Primary Responsibilities
- Learn and demonstrate skills required to manage client relationships and candidate placements.
- Support sales activity by preparing client proposals, maintaining CRM records, and updating enterprise dashboards.
- Attend and assist in client meetings, both in-office and off-site, as part of relationship-building activities.
- Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and placement logistics with candidates and internal teams.
- Contribute to team targets and work toward performance metrics that drive promotion within the sales career path.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Entry-level sales experience preferred (internships, campus organizations, part-time sales roles, or related experience).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; active listening and consultative selling mindset.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working toward measurable targets.
- Professional appearance and demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook); experience with CRM tools is a plus.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
