Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Associate Account Executive to support growth in their Data Center business in the Dallas, TX market. This is an early-career, full-time technical sales role designed for a relationship-oriented, driven candidate who wants long-term career growth in mission-critical infrastructure and data center solutions. You will learn building automation, controls, and data center infrastructure while supporting senior sales staff on opportunities and proposals.
What You’ll Do
- Assist senior sales executives with strategic account development and customer engagement.
- Support outreach to general contractors, mechanical contractors, consulting engineers, and end users across the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
- Help identify new project opportunities and support prospecting activities.
- Attend customer meetings, presentations, jobsite visits, and industry events.
- Learn and communicate Confidential Client’s BAS, EPMS, SCADA, and PLC-based controls solutions.
- Support proposal preparation, estimating coordination, and CRM updates.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Participate in ongoing technical and sales training to build product and industry expertise.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
- 1–3 years experience in sales, construction, engineering, building systems, HVAC, electrical, or related fields.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally (~10–25%).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support proposal/project documentation.
Preferred
- Exposure to Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS), HVAC controls, SCADA, PLCs, or EPMS.
- Internship or work experience with contractors, engineering firms, or mission-critical projects.
- Interest or experience in data center infrastructure and construction project delivery.
