Role overview

This entry-level Associate Account Analyst role supports underwriting and account servicing for our confidential client in the Accounting & Finance industry. The position is hybrid: candidates within 50 miles of select offices are expected in-office 2 days/week. You will learn to gather, analyze, and enter submission and pricing data, support policy issuance and billing workflows, and assist underwriters and brokers with timely, accurate customer service.

What you’ll do

• Gather, organize, and enter submission information into pricing models and internal systems.
• Perform initial analyses of exposure, loss history, and coverage to support underwriter decisions.
• Prepare and verify pricing and proposal materials (rating output, proposal language, forms, endorsements, agreements).
• Manage workflow from clearance through policy issuance and file documentation.
• Coordinate service requests and route referrals to internal teams (e.g., rating) when needed.
• Provide responsive customer service to brokers and agents—answer questions and resolve basic policy, billing, and service issues.
• Execute post-sale account tasks: initiate billing, issue policies, collect required account agreements and documentation.
• Support pre-renewal and mid-term stewardship activities, including notice drafts when necessary.
• Maintain organized files and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications (Required)

• 2 or more years of related work experience, or equivalent demonstrated skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn and apply new information quickly.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; customer service orientation.
• Proven organizational and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable working with pricing tools, spreadsheets, and internal systems.

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Prior exposure to underwriting, insurance, or risk evaluation processes.
• Familiarity with pricing models, policy forms, endorsements, and billing workflows.

Compensation & benefits

• Base salary range: USD $46,000 - $84,000 per year (determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, and location).
