Role overview

Our confidential client is hiring an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to develop SAP (Materials Management and Sales & Distribution) capability while supporting client-facing supply chain projects. This is an entry-level / early-career opportunity for candidates with a supply chain, operations, or analytics background who want hands-on experience implementing SAP-enabled procurement, materials, inventory, order-to-cash, and fulfillment solutions.

Estimated salary: $70,919 per year (estimated).


What you’ll do

You will work on project teams to help clients improve supply chain operations through SAP-enabled solutions and related analytics, automation, and process improvements. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Support SAP Materials Management (MM) and/or SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) activities for client engagements.
  • Help gather and analyze business requirements for procurement, inventory, order management, fulfillment, and logistics processes.
  • Assist with SAP configuration, testing, data validation, documentation, and issue resolution under experienced guidance.
  • Analyze supply chain and operational data to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Support process-improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, visibility, and service levels.
  • Collaborate with consultants, technical teams, and client stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Learn and apply AI, automation, analytics, and cloud tools that enhance modern supply chains.

Required technical & professional expertise

We hire for potential and curiosity — prior SAP experience is NOT required. Candidates should demonstrate:

  • Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (concentration in supply chain), Operations Management, Logistics, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Foundational understanding of supply chain concepts: procurement, purchasing, inventory, materials management, order management, fulfillment, distribution, or logistics.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify problems, and propose structured solutions.
  • Exposure to supply chain, operations, data analysis, enterprise technology, or process improvement via coursework, academic projects, internships, competitions, or certifications.
  • Interest in developing expertise in SAP (MM and/or SD), enterprise applications, automation, and analytics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with both business and technical audiences.

Preferred experience

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, SAP, data visualization, process mapping, or business analytics.
  • Project or internship experience in procurement, inventory management, sales operations, or related supply chain functions.
  • Interest in supply chain transformation, AI-enabled tools, and consulting.
  • Comfort working across business and technology teams.
