What You’ll Do

  • Support product development from concept through commercialization for foot & ankle implants and instruments with mentorship from senior engineers
  • Research and evaluate competitive products and performance characteristics to inform design decisions
  • Contribute to conceptual design work and parametric modeling using SolidWorks/CAD
  • Assist in creating and maintaining design control documentation (Design History Files / technical files)
  • Help develop and execute test protocols; support lab testing and inspection of new and existing devices
  • Participate in project phase-gate reviews and document actions/decisions
  • Coordinate with 3rd-party suppliers, contractors, and testing houses
  • Observe relevant surgical procedures (live, cadaver, or video) and capture detailed notes to inform design
  • Perform other duties as directed by your manager

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or related engineering discipline
  • 0–3 years of engineering experience; internships or co‑op experience in medical devices a plus
  • Familiar with CAD; SolidWorks experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to peers
  • Team-oriented, curious, and able to follow engineering processes and quality documentation

Compensation & Travel

  • Employment type: Full-time, onsite at our Englewood, CO facility
  • Base salary range: $47,000 — $75,000 USD annually (dependent on skills and experience)
  • Travel: Approximately 10% overnight travel
