What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Associate Product Development Specialist to support R&D efforts for liquid beverage products. You will work on bench and pilot plant trials, support project activities from ideation through industrialization, and help document and present results across R&D, SBU and market stakeholders.

• Develop new products using innovative ingredients and processes driven by consumer insight and Confidential Client guidelines
• Plan, execute and manage bench-top and pilot plant trials
• Support project activities to deliver industrialized products and processes at agreed quality and timeline
• Calculate carbon impact for projects to support sustainability deliverables
• Document project work according to Confidential Client standards and prepare presentations/publications with project teams
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional partners (R&D, SBU, Markets)
• Participate in relevant training (including Trial Management Process training)
• Keep current on scientific and business developments in liquid beverage products
• Travel up to 15% as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related scientific discipline
• 1–2 years of related experience (internships count)
• Familiarity with raw materials and key technologies relevant to beverage or liquid product areas
• Experience with bench-top prototyping and exposure to pilot plant environments
• Understanding of R&D project management and consumer insight/research methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and team collaboration tools
• Ability to organize work, manage small projects and work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of dairy technologies is a plus
• Must be quality- and customer-focused and able to provide practical solutions

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $63,236 to $84,868 per year (good-faith estimate; final offer may vary based on experience and location)
• Bonus eligibility: 5%
