What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Assistant Project Manager / Estimator role supporting marine construction projects. You will work alongside experienced Project Managers and Estimators to learn planning, estimating, and project coordination for public and private marine construction work.
- Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of active marine construction projects
- Support the preparation of estimates, bids, and proposals
- Review and organize project documents, specifications, and drawings
- Gather and track pricing, quantities, project costs, schedules, and other key project data
- Create and maintain project spreadsheets, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Excel
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and outstanding items to help keep projects on schedule
- Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Assist with project-related follow-up and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Learn project scopes, requirements, and industry processes by working closely with senior staff
- Develop practical knowledge of construction estimating, bidding, and marine construction operations
Qualifications
- 1+ year of professional work experience preferred (any field)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred — Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related fields are a plus
- Comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets; strong Microsoft Excel skills expected
- Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn a construction project management and estimating career
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work onsite and travel to local project sites as needed
Pay & Benefits
- Pay range: $80,000 – $100,000 per year (actual offer dependent on experience, skills, and other factors)

Workplace & Location
- This is a fully onsite, permanent, full-time position based in Quioque, NY.
