What You’ll Do

This Assistant Project Manager role supports the Project Management team through all phases of residential construction for custom homes. You will gain hands-on experience coordinating field and office operations while building the skills needed to move into a Project Manager role.

• Assist Project Managers with planning and coordinating residential construction projects
• Help maintain project schedules and monitor progress
• Track budgets, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and homeowners
• Attend project meetings and document action items
• Perform regular jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, and project progress
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, permits, inspections, and project documentation
• Maintain organized project files using construction management software
• Support problem-solving and help keep projects moving forward

What We’re Looking For

We are hiring entry-level candidates or recent graduates who are ready to learn on the job and grow into construction leadership roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of construction experience (internships or full-time)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working both in the office and on active construction sites
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore is a plus
• Valid driver’s license

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year you’ll confidently support multiple custom-home projects, develop strong relationships with trade partners, and be recognized as a reliable member of the project team. You’ll gain the experience needed to advance toward a Project Manager position.

• Base salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year (as listed by the client)
