What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support live events and touring productions. This is an entry-level, hands-on role where you’ll work closely with senior Project Managers and Account Executives to learn all phases of event project execution — from planning through on-site delivery and closeout.
- Work alongside Project Managers to help plan, coordinate, and execute live event and touring projects.
- Attend project meetings to capture client requirements, timelines, budgets, and success criteria.
- Translate project plans into organized tasks and help keep assigned work on schedule.
- Learn and follow Confidential Client’s project management processes, systems, and best practices.
- Assist with routine client communications and provide timely project updates.
- Participate in internal planning with sales, operations, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate equipment, logistics, labor, travel, and third-party vendors as directed.
- Support tracking of project milestones and follow up on outstanding items.
- Assist with pricing reviews, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders.
- Maintain accurate project records in internal systems (quotes, reservations, orders).
- Support on-site execution and client-facing activities whenever possible.
- Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and guidance.
- Participate in training and mentoring designed to build project management skills.
- Gradually take on more responsibility as experience and proficiency increase.
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience or exposure to live events, touring production, entertainment production, event project management, or event operations is strongly desired.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new technology and business systems.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as project schedules require.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands
- Able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Extensive typing and documentation work.
- May occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.
- Travel by car and plane to different branches and job sites as needed.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated pay range: $65,000–$70,000 per year. Actual pay will be determined by experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
