What You’ll Do

You will support site investigation, environmental assessment, and geotechnical projects by collecting and interpreting subsurface data, producing maps and cross-sections, and helping prepare technical reports. Work includes field sampling, monitoring, data analysis, and collaboration with engineering and environmental teams.

  • Conduct soil, bedrock and groundwater sampling and field monitoring
  • Operate, maintain and calibrate field monitoring and remediation equipment
  • Prepare, tabulate and summarize field and laboratory data for technical reports
  • Generate subsurface maps, cross-sections and interpretive summaries
  • Support Phase I/II site assessments, well design and seismic/earthwork evaluations
  • Follow site safety procedures and participate in pre-task planning

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards on projects
  • Able to perform field work, including site visits and sample collection
  • Comfortable with technical writing and summarizing data for reports
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (may be required)
  • Preferred: certifications in a relevant field or prior site investigation experience

  • Estimated base salary: $50,163 per year (estimated)
