What You’ll Do

This entry-level Assistant Electrical Construction Project Manager (APM) role supports onsite project delivery and project management administration for Confidential Client. You’ll learn core project controls and construction management practices while handling critical documentation and coordination tasks.

  • Manage project documentation: submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, drawing and submittal control logs.
  • Support the Project Manager with planning, coordination, and issue resolution to keep projects on schedule and compliant with company/project standards.
  • Prepare and maintain change order logs, price change orders, and project reports for construction meetings.
  • Create, review, and issue subcontractor contracts and job information sheets; maintain job files.
  • Assist with assembly and timely delivery of Owner and Maintenance Manuals; ensure required documentation and drawings are collected.
  • Maintain warranty logs and assist with closeout deliverables.
  • Attend client, subcontractor, and internal project meetings and provide project management support.
  • Coordinate with payroll and field personnel to ensure accurate project records and payroll data.
  • Monitor subcontractor activities and assist in enforcing quality control plans.

What You’ll Need

  • Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and on-site methods.
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow-up skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; professional demeanor when interacting with managers, staff, vendors, and clients.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong team player.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred, or a combination of education, training, and relevant construction experience.
  • Minimum ~1 year of experience in a construction-related role (internship, field support, or administrative support experience acceptable).

Travel & Working Conditions

  • Travel: Up to 25%.
  • Primary work environment: active construction sites and office settings. Tasks include sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, bending.
  • Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. Noise level typically low to medium.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range: $79,600 — $119,400 per year (range reflects expected pay for candidates meeting listed qualifications; final pay may vary by location, experience, skills).
