Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Assistant Buyer, Paid Social to support paid social campaign planning, execution, and reporting for a portfolio of clients. This is a Manhattan, NY–based role with a hybrid work model (in-office ~2–3 days per week). The position offers hands-on training, mentorship, and growth opportunities for candidates launching a career in digital media and advertising.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, campaign setup, execution, and reporting across paid social platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, X).
- Support development of media plans, presentation decks, flowcharts, spec sheets, and campaign documentation.
- Gather campaign data, platform costs, audience insights, and other inputs to support planning recommendations.
- Collaborate with Media Operations, Ad Operations, Finance, Analytics, and Planning to ensure accurate, timely launches.
- Create media contracts and maintain accurate campaign details in internal systems.
- Monitor pacing, budgets, and delivery; surface optimization opportunities.
- Support trafficking, QA, and proof-of-performance documentation.
- Assist with post-campaign recaps and client-facing reporting.
- Manage day-to-day communications with internal teams, media partners, and creative agencies.
- Stay current on emerging social platforms, trends, and advertising opportunities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–6+ months hands-on experience executing and optimizing digital media campaigns, with a focus on paid social.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in paid social media, digital marketing, or advertising is strongly preferred.
- Problem-solving mindset and resourcefulness.
Compensation & Work Model
- Salary: $47,000 – $50,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
- Employment type: Full-time (contractor status may apply depending on engagement).
- Hybrid: Manhattan, NY — expected in-office collaboration approximately two days per week.
