Key Responsibilities

Confidential Client expects the Assistant Branch Manager to:

• Actively originate consumer loan business by listening to customers and recommending appropriate lending and voluntary product solutions.
• Educate customers on consumer lending services (credit improvement, debt consolidation) and assist through the loan application process.
• Evaluate loan applications, perform basic risk analysis, and participate in credit decisioning and loan closings.
• Process insurance claims and assist customers with payment reminders and follow-ups.
• Support branch operations by recruiting, training, and mentoring staff.
• Help develop and implement plans to meet sales goals, deliver excellent customer service, and reinforce core values.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferred majors: Business, Finance, Sales, or related fields).

• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong verbal communication and customer-relations skills.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background and credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products (state-dependent background checks).
• Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion into a Branch Manager role (full relocation package provided for moves over 50 miles).
