What You’ll Do
This entry-level Asbestos Claims Paralegal role supports processing and managing asbestos-related claims from intake through submission and audit response. You will work on-site and receive training.
- Assist with preparing, filing, and managing asbestos-related claims accurately, including addressing deficiencies
- Input and maintain data in the internal case management system
- Communicate professionally with clients, claims representatives, and internal teams (liens, accounting, intake, estates)
- Gather, organize, and verify client, medical, employment, and exposure-related documents
- Assist with responding to audit requests and meeting claim-related deadlines
- Conduct client outreach for required information and status updates
- Review records and deposition transcripts; prepare concise summaries for attorneys
- Support attorneys and senior paralegals in monitoring case deadlines and related tasks
- Maintain accurate, organized electronic case files and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Previous legal, administrative, internship, customer service, or office experience helpful but not required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Client-focused mindset; professional and courteous in all interactions
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and legal concepts quickly
- Reliable, professional, and eager to develop a career in the legal field
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $25–$28 per hour (hourly rate, offers tailored within this range based on experience and skills)
