What You’ll Do

This is a full-time, entry-level operations leadership role at on-site operations facilities (fulfillment centers, sort centers, delivery stations, or similar). As an Area Manager you will lead, develop, and motivate an hourly operations team to meet safety, quality, attendance, and performance goals.

  • Support, mentor and motivate 50–100 direct-report associates
  • Drive day-to-day operations to meet productivity, quality, and customer service targets
  • Coach and develop hourly associates through on-the-floor feedback and structured training
  • Oversee incoming truck deliveries, package handling and sorting activities
  • Operate and/or coordinate pallet jacks and powered industrial trucks (PIT) where applicable
  • Step in to perform operational tasks when needed to maintain flow
  • Manage shift-level staffing, attendance, and performance conversations
  • Work with site leadership to implement process improvements and safety protocols

Work Schedule & Environment

  • This role requires being on the production floor — expect standing and walking during shifts up to 12 hours.
  • Shifts commonly include nights, weekends, and/or holidays depending on business needs. Many sites follow a 4-day on / 3-day off pattern, though shift patterns vary by facility.
  • You will work in environments with variable noise levels and repeated physical activity (lifting, bending, pushing, pulling).

Basic Qualifications

Eligible applicants MUST meet all requirements below at the time of hire.

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026 (all degree requirements must be met before your first day)
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Degree focus or coursework in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or team supervision experience (internships, campus leadership, or work experience)

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 49 pounds and perform frequent push, pull, squat, bend, and reach motions
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs where applicable

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation will vary by location and candidate experience. The posting includes the following base salary ranges for Texas sites (annual):

  • Amarillo, TX: $65,200 – $75,000 USD
  • Coppell, TX: $65,200 – $75,000 USD
  • Dallas, TX: $65,200 – $75,000 USD
  • Fort Worth, TX: $65,200 – $75,000 USD
  • Lubbock, TX: $65,200 – $75,000 USD
  • Pflugerville, TX: $65,200 – $75,000 USD
  • San Antonio, TX: $65,200 – $75,000 USD
  • San Marcos, TX: $65,200 – $75,000 USD
  • Waco, TX: $65,200 – $75,000 USD

Total compensation packages may include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, parental leave, etc.). Final pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and location.

This posting covers openings in the Texas locations listed above. Site placement will be matched by aligning your location preferences with availability after the interview. Relocation benefits may be offered at the time of offer for eligible candidates.
